§ 8-435. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this division, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Door-to-door means a type of solicitation of individual private residences and businesses of persons who are both unknown to the person soliciting.

    Public place means any property open or devoted to public use.

    Publication solicitation means conduct whereby a person sells or takes orders for sales of newspapers, magazines, or other publication (including audio and visual recordings).
